Winter Garden update
Inside the cold frames, the spring temps are beginning to swing from below freezing to 100 degrees. Time to install the automatic venting arms and enjoy the 1st harvest of the season. So I brushed the snow off then opened the window and saw nothing living. There weren’t even dead plants, there was just Nothing.
That’s what the garden looks like now. My heart hangs heavy, but I did get the automatic venting arm installed.
I don’t know what could’ve happened. If it was due to the cold (unlikely), the carrots wouldn’t evaporate. It couldn’t be a deer, because deer can’t open windows. It could be people, rodents, or bugs.
I think it was Bugs, with a capital B. That Wabbit is known for mischief and that would explain the missing carrots.
