November photo Gallery

Finally November photo gallery captures the first of winter’s snows.   The snow levels are low but our drive to get out is high.  Early season backcountry skiing is somewhat tricky.  During the season access is as easy as riding the chair lifts and going through the backcountry gates.  Early season this is not an option but since the resorts aren’t fully open we’re allowed to use ski slopes for backcountry skiing.  Deer Valley is very accommodative  but Park City generally opens early blocking any hope of early season inbounds backcountry skiing.

Ah, but where there’s a will there’s a way.  We accessed Canyons Village terrain from a neighboring trail on Bear Hollow drive known as Rob’s trail.  It worked perfectly and our tracks stood alone until the next storm.
